Introduction to ‘Our Blog’

This platform is designed to be a central hub for our members — a place where you can access Q&As with professors, guest speakers, and professionals from across the finance sector. Our aim is to bring you first-hand insights, experiences, and advice from experts who have navigated the paths you may be considering.

In addition, we’re launching a dedicated mini-series packed with practical tips and tricks to support you — from how to prepare standout applications and interviews, to effective revision strategies and career planning guidance.

We’ll also be sharing full versions of our Instagram posts here, so you’ll always have one place to revisit all our content and resources.

Our goal is simple: to make finance feel accessible, inspiring, and supportive while providing you with the tools you need to take the next step in your journey.

Finally, a quick introduction to the marketing team behind this platform: Sia, current co-president of QMBFS and a second-year Economics and Finance student at QMUL, and Simone and Vanessa, second-year Economics students at QMUL.
